its a lot more spread out than i thought it would be, less than a minute with 6.6 left, this is for the GC boys now.

Yeah, looks like you were right. The time gaps fooled me, jumping all over the place.

Contador attacking. He's looking better than he has since before the TDF. Though he still doesn't look nearly at his best.

I wonder how much truth there is in the rumours that Froome is basically using this race as the first training block of next season, and a win or podium is a bonus. He's never shown any evidence so far in his career that he can sustain a peak across multiple consecutive GTs. He faded badly in the Vuelta back in 2012, after a Tour that wasn't nearly as hard as this year's one.

Hopefully Quintana and Contador gonna play around a bit with each other. In that case Gesink actually might still hold on. But it ain't looking too good at the moment! :(
