No doubt Keukeleire was the fastest, but I found it saddening to see a good, agressive rider like Devenyns get caught 1km from the finish and see random c sprinter #39 run away with it.
The descent was very non-technical, which is always in favour of a big group.

Bouet's reaction as he crossed the line...

Did he really think he was going to win that?
Well, to be fair, he hasn't been this close to a win since 2013, when he won his last victory.

Ah ! Gerrans is road captain at the Vuelta and its always unlikely he would go for a stage win.

Quite a stunning sprint from Keukeliere is fairly fast - Keukeliere was in a good position to go for the sprint finish in the second stage Meersman won, but unfortunately fell over Contador.

Got it wrong big time with Gilbert today - My guess is stage 13 will come down to a sprint finish.

Was that Gerrans? He didn't really look like it.

Gerrans or whoever it was, was on Keukeleire's wheel but got boxed in by a simultaneous move from a Caja Rural and an Etixx

It was Howson who did the lead out for Keukeliere.
