this. Froome's been absolutely amazing the last half of the seasonRuby United said:ice&fire said:With cr*ppy opposition in the Tour, yes, is doable.dacooley said:well, at least froome indicates the tour vuelta double is more than doable.
Well, he got a medal in the olympics in between in a different continent, so you have to give him more credit than usual, not less.

It's clearly doable as Froome has shown us. Froome and his team just made a big mistake, but clearly he can do it.
Also, as has been pointed out, he had an "easy" Tour with a strong team controlling the contenders every day. Not guaranteed that will happen again
Everyone can see on whose side your simpathies are , but Froome hasn't lost 'minutes' to Quintana in the mountains in the 2016 Vuelta so far.DFA123 said:He clearly has faded - he's lost minutes in the mountains. He's just a much better TTist than everyone else in the race. It would be a lot more interesting if someone like Cancellara or Dumoulin were here to put Froome's time into some kind of context.Walkman said:meat puppet said:Froome puts those suggesting he would fade during the vuelta, as any sensible observer would suggest, in their place.
He might have faded, it's all in relative terms compared to the rest of the field.
Talansky will pick up yates in the GC, that's a cause for celebration for Cannondale.GuyIncognito said:Irondan said:They weren't exactly picked to win today....GuyIncognito said:Cannondale sucking badly today
johnny weltz seemed pretty upbeat though

Look at my post, he got a medal in the olympics in a different continent.
This Vuelta may indicate he CAN do it, not necessarily he will.
So basically he would've won both GT due to TT'sjsem94 said:If he hadn't been caught out of Contador's ambush, he could have won the Vuelta this year no doubt. So how is it not doable?
