Yeah, Chaves is looking good, but still a long way to go. Must say Berto is riding stupidly, like a junior. He should just stay calm and ride tempo. He might get dropped by others but the gap vs Chaves is was counts.

Pretty sure contador will keep his podium place. chaves just doesn't have enough of an advantage

Contador doesnt look that good tbh. I hope I'm wrong, but I like the way Chaves took the initative.
Orica riding a very nice Vuelta.
I agree. Didn't see how bad he is looking when I wrote my post.

A bit lucky Contador isn't better today. They rode like morons the day of the big break. If Chaves fades and loses podium, it 100% because they raced so bad that day. It was like they did race against Froome rather than for a podium.

Clock in the finish line will tell how Contador looked.
Froome really didn't try anything yet?
Has he surrendered or does he think he can take 1half minute in 8 km?

Contador relying on Valverde to save his podium. That's got to hurt his ego a bit.

Chaves has a 2 minute gap again.

Froome is surely bound to start spinning like a washing machine very soon.

It has to be the biggest washing machine ever seen, because needs to take 1:20 from Quintana in 6kms...

Almost impossible

anyone know if the air force allowed the riders to recon this last part of the climb? If not, it could be unknown territory for most riders. And it's not the easiest 6km.

Hmmm yes you seem to have reached a point where you seem to just like to bash/troll anything Contador related.

Not sure what Contador did to piss off so many Spaniards.
