Felline gaining

Unlikely, besides Trek did not appear to be prepared to meet his demands before the Vuelta, so now...

What are you talking about?

are you a native speaker of one of those languages where "gain" = "win"? it just means he gained ground on the others, not that he would win the stage

Atapuma wanted it too much couldn't win even with Latour riding most of the final km. Hats off to both :)

Quintana looks like he's on a sunday club ride..

Froome clearly hasn't modified his tactics when behind since Ancares and Farrapona in 2014.

Tbf, Froome tried quite a few times today. He tried at the start of the stage and over the top of Puerto de Tudons

Correct. Couldn't do anything more against this Quintana. Someone jokingly said that Nairo is better in his second GT so should try the Giro-Tour double....and maybe he seriously should??

What tactics? Nothing you can do 1 minute down against another climber who's at least as fast as yourself.
Certainly not if you don't attack properly until the last 5km.
come on. your rider is a well-deserved winner. no reason to thrown stones in the others.

Quintana's not 'my rider'. Tbh, I'm a bit disappointed that Sky didn't try to destroy the race continuously for the first 150km.

They gave themselves no chance with these tactics.
