Just took a spin, everything was on fire, now the break is at 11. What happened? Contador, Chaves, Fromme - nobody wants the stage at least? Disappointing. Bad luck first for Valverde not to get in the break.

I'm disappointed we won't see the GC guys fight it out for the stage

Alberto could let his team ride to catch the break
Yeah of course but he clearly isn't very confident in his legs

That's not Alberto like.

What's to lose?
Well, does his team really have the power? But the lack of trying suggests to me he doesn't feel great.

Oh, right, was looking at the virtual standings and thought that it was after stage 19.

Still, Felline would probably need him to be caught

Contador is the biggest disgrace in this stage, didn't try anything and doesn't even go for the stage win

Terrible this stage goes to a break.
Hugely frustrating. Froome could use the bonus seconds and could win the stage, Chaves and Contador haven't got a win yet and this is their last chance. Can't believe they are just letting Movistar set a snail pace.

Felline needs to be 6th on the stage, if he is to pass Valverde in the points classification

The chasers also need to catch Sanchez who has 79 points now
75 points. Unless they suddenly changed the system
they give points at the sprint, no?
Yes 4, 2 and 1
thanks

Chavez is a disgrace too, didn't expect much from Froome but Contador never dissapointed me as much as now. Legs don't matter, he didn't even try.

Calling someone who animated the race beyond belief just a week ago a disgrace because he doesn't want to risk his podium place on a kamikaze attack is nothing short of ridiculous.

It is, if it came from anyone else than Miburo. He is 100% in his right IMO.
