See, this is the problem. Contador is one of the best riders of his generation; of course you can point to times when he has done well in similar stages in the past (even though in this particular stage he was far from the fastest on the actual steep climb). Seriously though, I think he has a good chance of winning and it would be great to see him make a statement early in the race. But these predictions before every single stage where he has the remote possibility of doing well are pretty tiresome.
