Simon Yates must be one of the freshest riders entering the Vuelta, nice win today, but not a massive surprise

I expect a Contador attack

He did attack bro LOL tv didn't cover it, maybe next time you'll get me ;)

Meanwhile your team....

They didn't even bother to cover his attack, must have been a strong one

You could actually see a yellow "spot" attacking from the pack just at the moment when Yates dropped Moreno.

Its not really an attack when you are sticking your nose in the wind for 50 metres now, is it?

Contador's fans are just confused.
Nowadays, Contador looks like attacking while only trying to keep up.

Yates' win/attack also brings him into a more respectable GC position. Their Plan B was sliding away with Yates previously over a minute down.

A very fine win for the Yates brother. The Orica plan paid off big times.
But Valverde could have won this with the right team tactic, lol.
Only one tactic exists for Valverde.

It's an attack when you try to get away from a group. The strength of an attack is something completely different.

I don't care honestly. Lets call that an attack so Miburo can be proud of his prediction. ;)

As expected, LuisLe thought he was about to win it, but he saw the time ticking just before crossing the line :(

Much better stage for S.Yates today with its rolling mountains - Tonnes of ability but needs to work harder in the off-season - Hopefully the win today shows him what he can achieve in the future.

Great stage.

Movistar hilarious. I would trash the team bus if i was Herrada, Castro, Rojas,...

They didn't even bother to cover his attack on Fuente De. Must have been a weak attack. Still strong enough to drop Valverde though.
