Another American making his Le Tour de France debut with #GreenArgyle. Make some noise for @natebrown0707!
That's some kind of a surprise. I had actually expected him to have a chance to go to TdF this year but since the guys like Bevin and Phinney were confirmed, I thought guy like Langeveld wouldn't be left out after a strong spring, as he had been a regular member of Cannondale's TdF rosters even during his worse years.

Or maybe it's Uran who will not make it? :surprised:

That's a really strong team for the mountains, they have the firepower to do a lot of damage.

Leaving Coquard out makes them look so small and petty. He stuck with the team during some tough times when he could have left for WT, he tells the team his plans well in advance so they can plan out next year and you're going to blame the guy for wanting to step up a level after 5 years with the team? Pathetic. Well, they've definitely made sure no one will ever let them know they're leaving before the Tour again. Is Calmejane under contract for next year? It would be funny if he decided to sign with someone else for 2018.

Strong team with a shot at team classification. Will have a look at the odds. Backed them 2014 @50 (1st, of course a bit lucky) and also last year @100 (4th) and will do so again this year.

UAE Team Emirates:
MEINTJES Louis
LAENGEN Vegard Stake
ULISSI Diego
SWIFT Ben
ATAPUMA John Darwin
BONO Matteo
DURASEK Kristijan
MORI Manuele
MARCATO Marco

It's not bad, Atapuma and Durasek can hel Meintjes in the mountains and Laengen and Swift can also help them early on on a climb. Ulissi to go stagehunting Swift for the harder sprint stages and better support for Meintjes than last year.

Yes, but on the other hand a few of their African riders, mainly Kudus and Debesay, are probably better off riding the Vuelta as their only gt. Add a few riders from the Giro squad (Anton, Fraile, Gibbons, Sbaragli and maybe also one of the Eritreans who raced the Giro) and maybe even Morton, who only seems to be good at climbing in the heat, and you have an interesting Vuelta squad.
All in all I don't mind their Tour squad.

THIS! He's a young, super talented guy. Of course he was gonna leave for a WT team eventually.
