Looking at Froome's knee and the bandages under his skinsuit it definitely cost him. He recovered quite well in the second half. Pozzo and Betancur were better than expected. Pinot will be quite happy with that time probably.sir fly said:Good results for the rest of the Giro.
Too early to pull any sensible conclusions, but Dumoulin, Pozzo, Yates look the best. We'll see how much the crash affected Froome and if Aru and Lopez are slightly off the pace or it was just a matter of time trialing.
