Hoping to see what Anton can do today.

Probably will end the day disappointed.
You can't be disappointed if you only hope to see what he can do, as that could be anything ;)

But I know what you mean, it would be great if he showed the same level as he did on Picon Blanco. Been a while since Anton has been this good

Astana totally let Lopez down today tho, Bilbao was respectable, but tbh not more than that given his usual level. The rest were nowhere to be found. I dont know if he could have held Sosa today, but chances would have been much higher had the team done what they were supposed to.

Sosa even was held up by De La Cruz who didn't notice Sosa coming past at mach 5 speed. Almost made him fall uphill
Superman did all the work and Sosa did a Purito in the last 700 meters gaining 19" on Lopez. However, I'm not sure Sosa could do what Lopez did.
That's right, but that is cycling. In the interview he and his coach had planned for him to go at the 700 meters to go mark. But he said that he felt weak all throughout the climb. He said that he pedaled with his heart because he had to legs. LOL. Anyway, it was obvious that with 2 seconds he was going to wait until the last kilometer to attack. It was Lopez team that was kind of weak. Lopez was impressive because he had to pull in all the climb and controlled all the attacks.

Sosa also said that the race was very uncontrollable and Astana and his team had to work very hard early. That probably weakened Astana. At least we know that Astana is no Sky.
