It won't get much better according to the forecasts.

Up here in Flanders, it has been rather cool but sunny for days, by the way.
Been lovely in Scotland too.
King Boonen said:I don't see any of the GC teams going hard. The climbs are about 300m or so of easy gradient, no where near enough to cause real damage, and then you have a huge amount of flat where any dangerous break will get reeled in. If Jumbo did try to do that I'd expect the other teams to either shut it down very easily or just let them sit in the wind for hours using up energy, then shut them down at the end of the stage.
My main worry is that circuit, there are some sharp turns outside the neutralised area and all the sprinters know this is likely the last sprint stage for a couple of days at least, possibly until stage 10. GC guys are going to be nervous about losing more time so they'll be pushing for position. Fingers crossed we don't get another crash.
After his crash yesterday, @tom_dumoulin will start stage 5 today. He has been cleared to race by the team's medical staff, but still suffering with his knee. He will give it his best shot and see what the day brings.

Not as lovely as this time last year....only last week I was coming home from work and the temperature was only 8 degrees, this week a nice 22 degrees.....when we we’re out at the weekend we could still see the snow on the top of Ben Lomond.

Eyeballs Out said:It seems to be commonplace these days to "neutralise" circuit finishes in the rain - time taken the first time they cross the finish line, leaving the sprint teams to race on their own

The rain is falling straight down and kind of to the side like.
Too bad ain't Scotland.
