Meanwhile, in Denmark, Asgreen defended his ITT title, while Dideriksen became the women's ITT champion. The junior titles were won by Gustav Wang, and Victoria Lund respectively, Lund - btw - last Wang last year, is actually still a U-17 rider, Wang, at least, is old enough to be a junior this year.

The U23 races - which were held mid September - were both won by Julius Johansen.

I was confused,I knew there is Danish ITT today but still no results in Procyclingstats

Young Ben Healy of soon to be closed Trinity racing just won the Irish championship in a solo break ahead of Nico Roche.

Hopefully someone took notice and will give this young guy a contract
A two man attack from the first lap, solo for 50km. Quite a ride.

He has very impressive palmares for a 20 year old. Elite national RR, U23 National TT (while faster than the elite winner). Youngest ever stage winner at Avenir, just took a stage at the Ronde l’Isard. Not the sort of freak junior talent we’ve recently seen skip the Espoirs altogether but looks ready for a pro contract now at 20. Presumably he’s being hawked around pretty hard by Andrew McQuaid at the moment, so it will be interesting to see where he lands.

it’s funny how there is always precisely one up and coming big talent at any one time in Irish cycling. Never two.
