Not that much to say about this team - I've included the 9 most popular riders in the game and top the popularity table.

@LaFlo: Where do you envision Gazzoli getting points from? He's on a continental team not likely to get much action in reasonably ranked races? I considered him for a while, but I seem to recall he wasn't included on any team on CQranking at the end of december? That made me turn away from him.

2 of my picks are at 0 picks in the spreadsheet and missing here, Blikra and Van Kessel so there must be some riders missing here. Perhaps just my team as I had to correct a mistake.

Dainese was clearly my pick as the most expensive as big sprintertalents with lots of opportunities, Champousion is talented but I think wont breakthrough straight away, Leknessund, not with a good enough raceprogram most likely, Foss is overrated imo, being 22 already so I expect him to be like Frankiny after his last strong U23 season, Van Wilder too young and so on.

Hermans, Groves, Rubio, Cullaigh, Ardila and Simmons made my main team so they had to make the team here also.

Eekhoff had to be picked after the worlds showing. Ravanelli is not a supertalent but very solid and will do well in many italian races for Androni so he was a safe pick. Bagioli was the last more expensive pick getting the edge over Konyshev. A bit young but a big talent on Quick Step cant be too bad.

Cepeda was obvious and I wish I had taken him in the maingame also. Meeus was Daineses leadoutguy last year and should take his role this year and sounds very ambitious. Blikra is a very fast joker that fitted the points in the end. Donovan a bit of a filler also to fit the points. Very good 2018 not so good in 2019, like Arensman, that could have been picked instead. But rides the full season pro unlike Arensman so he was the best bet to perhaps surprise. Van Kessel is Hermans sidekick, and like him will also focus more on the road next year, following strong Cycle Cross-results lately, so he could be a nice surprise and a bit of a joker for my team.

I overloked Krieger, so kudos to those with him. He should be good even though I would guess he will perhaps mostly be used as leadout with several other sprinters on the team.

I'm not sure what kind of races Team Monti are going to race, but he wouldn't be the first Continental rider to score 100+. I think he has big potential, but of course it's a bit of an uncertainty at this new team.

Yeah, Joel pointed out to me that Meeus is on both your teams but listed as a unique pick. Something must have gone wrong when I copied your team onto the popularity tab. I'll see if I can fix that this evening.

I agree with everything except Leknessund not having a good enough race program. Do we know Uno-X's race program already? Should be a solid one, i would have thought. Or do you mean the cancellation of the Tour of Norway, which is indeed bad for the Norwegian team?

You are right that we dont really know it yet and it may be better than I assume. I would just fear it was close to last year despite the new procontinentalstatus, as the team itself is not that much better (especially with several riders focused only on the olympics most of the year). And indeed also the Tour Of Norway not there is a minus too. But I could be surprised.

So far confirmed to Tour Colombia, Algarve, Kuurne, Le Samyn, Tour of the Alps, Poitou.

Here's a full list of the races they've asked to participate in (bottom of article): https://www.procycling.no/rittene-uno-x-ndt-onsker-2020/

Apart from those mentioned in the previous post, they've also confirmed a handful of smaller one-day races like Nokere Koerse, Gookse Pijl, Adelie de Vitre, Tro-Bro Leon and Tourangelle. Which is why I've chosen Julius Johansen in both games and Daniel Hoelgaard in the main CQ comp.

Is there an update on Niklas Larsen following his broken leg?

My young team has their hopes on: VAN VEENENDAAL Hidde (1 pick), SCHELLING Ide (4), RIVERA Brandon (4), QUARTERMAN Charlie (5), PIDCOCK Thomas (6), BUITRAGO Santiago (6), HAYTER Ethan ( 7) and ELOSEGI Iñigo (8). Because SIMMONS Quinn (40) is not going to make a difference.

Thanks for the info. I wish there were more hilly stage races (like Coppi-Bartali, Ain, Hungary or Slovenia) for Leknessund. Picking the sprinter Hoelgaard probably was a good idea given this likely program.
