I hope it delivers, want some emotion :) but at the end I like Bernal, Yates and Caruso so whichever wins I'm happy.

Other motivation for this final days is to see if Joao Almeida can get the top 5 (ahah the biggest motive of interest to be honest), just cause I'm an Almeida fan!

Reminds me of the interview with Buchmann a few days before his crash where he said that knowing a climb does not really help much in a race.
Knowing a climb helps considerably. The interview tells more about Buchmann than about the benefits of recon. Considering that he does not have a team around him and his aim is to basically top 5 or podium a GT, his strategy is basically to follow the leader/leader's team if feasible otherwise basically do last part of the climb in pain in which case no recon matters. Recon costs money and if he has to only follow the leader, it does not make any sense for him to invest time, effort and money for recon. Anayway he does not have the team to set pace up a climb to take advantage of the recon. For most it is good enough that the leader has done the recee and just take advantage of that.

All the other teams maybe trying to tire INEOS out before the final climb, or maybe Yates tried to escape wearing a Movistar shirt.

Its funny how Bernal from Colombia is considered poor in hot weather and Yates from Yorkshire good in the sun.

Bernal grew up at the altitude of 2650 meters ASL. Temperature there are on average 15 degrees lower than at low elevations. Average high there is just 18°C (similar all year long). Bernal is probably more accustomed to rain and humidity than to high temperatures.

That is one weak break...
If I'm Larry Warbasse and I'm the only WT guy in there -bar the Bora neopro- I'm coughing and stretching and panting from the first climb like if this is my last audition for a summer blockbuster about the pandemic. Come on, Larry, Jake Gylenhaal ain't got nothing on you.
