I was quite annoyed with the Slovenian fans last year and the Evenepoel ones and Nibali ones can wear you down at times, too, Bernal does not only have nice ones and the Ineos fans can be chauvinistic and swanky, but some portuguese Almeida fans are sure up there with the worst.

You unfortunately (and unintentionallly, as a female, of course) forgot some crazy fanladies: one Contador's, the other Valverde's...

From who? The final climb is quite tough so it was always going to be a waiting game until then.

They haven’t even dropped Ganna yet!

Sadly seems that without the hard climb to start the day that it's just impossible to even drop average doms before the final climb.

Of course the hard pace so far may well mean that we see a really fast shelling come Alpe di Mera.

I suppose someone could fancy trying to Astana the descent too and see if they can force a split for the drag up to the serious climb

It wasn't Bernals back, two stages back. Don't try to find excuses. Bernal was empty and had a bad day and Yates was better on that day. Plain and simple.

That's not for the whole climb, I think those are live numbers.
