Is it just me, or does Bernie Eisel (when speaking English) sound a bit like Jeremy Irons' character Simon in "Die Hard with a Vengeance"?

Perfect stage so far. Quickstep is swinging for the fence, and so is Bike Exchange precisely by not taking it on yet. We"ll se the capos well and truly tested the next two days.

It was Wiggins who was in contact with Matt (Raymond?) who apparently does physio work on a lot of athletes and is a regular at bike races.
Yes, but apparently CyclistAbi is even more plugged in than that since the opposite was stated so definitively so that's why I guessed he/she must be a relative or gf.

Anyone know why the French announcers might be talking about someone’s dog ? (I only catch 1/2 of what they’re saying).

I'm just wondering. Wouldn't it be better just to do an uphill TT on that final climb? At least the domestiuqes could've a day off..

You know it's not a good mountain stage design when Ganna is still at the front of the peleton on the final climb

Would be a laugh if Bernal just easily sticks to Yates the whole climb after all the hype and worry.
Honestly wouldn't be that surprising though. If Wednesday was only a bad day like riders tend to have that's likely what is gonna happen
