There is absolutely no point in going so slow. Got it, Poels ans Sütterlin can't do more. But than start only now and let them give their all for 10min. Would have much more effect than a sleeping pace all day.

Why would Landa say he's very motivated to attack & risk his podium to win and he's still not doing anything.

Couldn't be bothered to tune in from the start on my weekend. Thought I should tune in by now though.

All I've seen is the peloton shipping time.

Honestly what is going on.

Bahrain isn't even setting a hard tempo either i.e. that peloton still has large numbers.

So it's all for nothing at the moment. Someone should tell these guys this is the last stage.

They should just back off. Novak has been of the stronger climbers in that chase group so had a good chance to win here. Hes got a better chance than Landa has of beating Carapaz and Hindley to the stage.

Bahrain are confident Landa can make the difference in the ITT. Apparently he's been analyzing Pogacar on La Planche for inspiration.

2 days ago I said I would tune in with 14 km left. Well, I lied, I did it on Pordoi in hope of something happened - not expecting attacks, but just a solid tempo, but no. It was the 14 km-angle all along!

They're, about, 2000 meters above sea level and the road's as any freeway. Great pass.

I think he has lots of semi-long range attacks to his name - unfortunately hes just not as strong anymore IMO. But for sure he isnt the Pantani he is made out to be at times.
I think thats a fair assessment. I probably get just a bit annoyed by the absurd claim that he just needs to be freed to be this super exciting climbing superstar when he is clearly not.

Hindley will take the pink today, then lose it by a tiny margin tomorrow (less than ten seconds). It will be a historic moment in cycling, and the organisers will consider this abomination of a race to be a massive success.
