Alaph is 2.30 behind, that was a pretty brutal but strangely gymnastic somersault, he landed about as well as you can on the grass in that situation.

Looked like he was diving into water by the end.

If those time gaps are right, he's not getting back imo. Only hope might be if there are riders in between and he catches up to others who'll help.

Pogacar en Benoot went down hard too but Pogacar (dont know about Benoot) got right back up and closed every gap immediately.

Peloton kinda slowing down but even if he comes back it's gonna take a lot of energy out of Alaphilippe.

So that's basiacally how it looks like if you take your road bike with deep wheels to ride on a gravel and there's a strong crosswind.

It is about 15-20km to next section, when they get out of this one. That will be the time to bridge the gap. After that it will be very difficult.
