It's a small, but very strong group. Agreed that Groves move yesterday was a bit weird knowing today might be his best shot at a stage win. Even tho I don't believe he beats Pedersen.

If Groves can get into a good position ( which is no certainty ) he is faster than Pedersen.

Bennett really good his best form again out of nowhere.

It's simply not steep enough for a W/kg kind of domestique as Ellissonde to drill it. He's eating too much wind as aero plays a bigger role than percentages.

Bennet is still near the middle of pelton, and they didn't even gain any time on the break. This is a pedestrian pace.

I suspect if Bennett is dropped then Van Poppel could just about win the stage.

Will the organizer pull out the cars like yesterday when Molard was trying to get back? I doubt it.
