He's not having much luck lately with crashes - get well soon!Filippo Zana has crashed in training this morning. Broken collarbone so he won't be able to defend his NC jersey.

The whole incredible (ok, not really, this is pro-cycling after all) story of the Albanian NC's.
And here's an extra twist. This is the PCS profile of the winner:
Lukas Sulaj Kloppenborg
Lukas Sulaj Kloppenborg (born 2001-12-09 in Holbæk) is a road racing cyclist from Albania, currently riding for Holbæk Cykelsport. His best results are 2 wins in National Championships Albania ME - Road Race and 2nd place in National Championships Albania ME - ITT.www.procyclingstats.com
He was Danish. They "stole" a Danish rider, and then basically gifted him the win?!
They should have two starting spots, no?Unless something crazy happens then Tarling looks likely to take the British ITT, by a substantial margin as well. It will be interesting to see if he does worlds too (think Thomas is doing it?).

But I'd like to hear his story of how the race unfolded.
They should have two starting spots, no?
During Etoile de Bessegges Josh said he didn't want to do any U23 races, except for the world championships, which he'd consider taking part in. With E. Hayter out for the considerable future, however, he is probably up there as UKs best shot.
I wouldn't mind seeing Josh dominate the U23 and then join the TP squad on the track. This kid can put UK over the top.Yes 2 slots I believe, field is absolutely stacked with everyone and their nan prepping specifically for it this year but it will be a good measuring stick on a flat course definitely.
I doubt coming straight from Tour de Suisse was the best preparation though, but Markus is also destroying Van Vleuten, so she's clearly having a very good day. A 42 km ITT is of course not something they do very often either.Halfway through the Dutch TT nationals, Riejanne Markus is about to catch Demi Vollering, who started a minute ahead of her.
Markus came straight from altitude, it can go either way and apparently for her it's going the right way.I doubt coming straight from Tour de Suisse was the best preparation though, but Markus is also destroying Van Vleuten, so she's clearly having a very good day. Fred Wright has been quite a good TTer recently. I wouldn’t say him winning this is something crazy..Unless something crazy happens then Tarling looks likely to take the British ITT, by a substantial margin as well. It will be interesting to see if he does worlds too (think Thomas is doing it?).
Huh?Fred Wright has been quite a good TTer recently. I wouldn’t say him winning this is something crazy..

Yeah should've clarified that i posted this when he was 40 seconds ahead
Finished 1.02 ahead of Wright in 2nd (Who was 4th in the Dauphine tt), pretty impressive at 19!
Tarling wins, and it isn't close. Hayter wouldn't have had an easy ride either, were he present. Incredible.

Is that race even worthy of any title at all? 7 kilometers? What a joke.Wow, the unthinkable has happened: Christine Majerus is no longer the champion of Luxembourg!
