2024 National Championships Overview Thread

This appears to be the same course as last year - It's not that challenging, so I doubt the second group can bring back 3 minutes in 30kms.

Last year's championships were in Bucaramanga, which is a few hundred kilometers away. It's the same course where Higuita became champion for the first time about 5 years ago.

It's always hard to tell in this sort of race but Bernal and Higuita do seem to be in great form. Both have been pulling like trucks since 65k to go.

Reminds me of the old days, trawling around various corners of the internet and angelfire boards to find miscellaneous one week races and classics because I didn't have sky and landing on some bootleg regional Basque feed where most of the time I had no idea what was going on.
