Wellens didn't even have any team support today, only one with him was his dad. Must be pretty frustrating for the Belgian teams turning up with all their staff.Gianetti's boys are all firing on full cylinders!

Would also explain Realini beating someone like Paternoster in the ITT, I guess Slongo was in the team car.ELB was apparently handed a 30 second penalty, because the car following her didn't keep its distance.
Now this is concerning—does it mean he can’t do the aero hair tufts?Anyways, the most concerning issue is Wellens' hair. Poor guy should move to Alpecin, he lost it all on just a couple of years
Herregodts, sorry to say, but is overrated as a TT'er. Last year he surprised a lot of people during the NC TT in a stronger field, but it was in his own backyard, in the rain. There are at least 6 better TT'ers in Belgium, 4 of them have "aert" in their name.
Lampaert.Van Aert, Segaert, Campenaerts.
Who's the last?

I know he's not a top dog. That's why I specifically called this 'a chance of a lifetime' and a 'missed opportunity'. No need to underrate him, but you can't say he's getting overrated either. I have the right to cheer for my fellow townsman.Herregodts, sorry to say, but is overrated as a TT'er. Ofcourse. But you are disappointed and call it a missed opportunity. Imho, that's not entirely fair. Segaert was still there, and Herregodts his level is not that high that others (like Wellens in this case) can't beat him on a good day. For Segaert it is much more a missed opportunity, imho.I know he's not a top dog. That's why I specifically called this 'a chance of a lifetime' and a 'missed opportunity'. Ye, but I believe Segaert will get more chances along the way.Ofcourse. But you are disappointed and call it a missed opportunity. Imho, that's not entirely fair. See if you can guess you won the Danish Junior Men ITT.
Yep. You're right!
Wow, I finally won something, and I didn't even know I was competing!
So the ride I just did on Ringvejen didn't actually make me Danish junior champion? Stop posting lies then.Well, you didn't actually win anything.
Not a huge surprise in the Danish Elite Women's ITT either.
2. Koerner
3. Greve - also won the U23 title.
I still haven't been able to find an answer to the mystery of the missing Uttrup.
Well she didn't finish Tour de Suisse, so maybe focussing just on the road race. ITT might still be too painful to ride considering her injury, even though she did set a reasonable time at the ITT for TdS, it might be the recovery the next day which is the issue
That was my best guess too.
Don't think it's because she didn't finish Suisse; surely then she would have cancelled her participation earlier, and not after the start times had already been published.
I was just thinking the ITT was stage 2, she was her normal chatty self at the start of stage 3, but then didn't finish, there wasn't a crash, and FDJ haven't provided an update since.
Beloki 2nd as an 18 years old, not bad.David De La Cruz wins Spain ITT time 38:32
Beloki 2e 39:05
Raul Garcia 3e 39:08
Lazkano 4e 39:10
