It's time for gravel!
But not the gravel race this weekend.
Not even really the gravely road race on the calendar - that honour goes to Strade Bianche.
However, since 2018 it does have a lot of gravel; some people like that more than others.
Doesn't actually start in Paris, but does end in Tours.
Last year, Riley Sheehan sprung a surprise when he - despite only being a stagiare at the time - won the race sprinting in a small group.

Pretty good start list for a non-WT race. Favorites are Philipsen, De Lie, Pedersen, Morgado, Madouas, Laporte, Démare and Turgis.

It's a completely different race than it used to be, but it might be interesting. It's a pity that it's on the same day as the WC gravel bike, because the same riders would be good at it.

This has turned into a cracking race since 2018. Just annoying that it's on the same day as the gravel world's, as it would've been great to see MVDP. Still a good startlist though.

Coming from just having watched the CRO race where the tarmac roads were all nice and dry the weather and road conditions in this race are drastically different aren't they.
