He has been living and dieting like a pro since he was a junior. I honestly don't know if he has much progression left in that regard. This is what I thought last year, and he hasn't done much to erase that thought.

Yeah that's the thing. Dieting is one of the main ways to improve as a pro, and I often have questions with the some juniors are already doing it. Or training like a pro. I have the same questions with Segaert for example.

Not that I think Ayuso won't ever make a step forward as a climber but you gotta wonder if UAE is doing the right thing with him right now. His TT is superb but his climbing is definitely stagnating.
