If stage position points had been given on Stage 11, in the green points race, Hfgon1 would have moved into 3rd place, with upward moves for Armchair and Los Brolin within the top ten, and Madrazo and Hayneplane moving into it, while Jumbo Visma Fan, Kazistuta and EitB would fall within the top ten and Yellow Knight and Queen Stagiaire would have left it. While in the red points game, Madrazo would have passed Ingsve for fourth, and Hayneplane would have taken seventh from Yellow Knight.

But they weren't.

Choosing Vingegaard was not enough in itself to finish above all the teams that didn't have him (but would have seen off five of the eight), but everyone who had him got at least the extra 70 needed to make the bottom 8 the table for those without him.

That would have put you over the budget, but replacing Bisiaux or Kwiatkowski to be able to afford it could have improved your score somewhat.

Did particularly well in the Spring and Vuelta, and decently in the Giro, to make up for a very mediocre Tour performance.
