Honey Stinger, Giro Helmets, FRS Sports Drinks and RadioShack are no longer in with Lance either. The guy is poison now. What a wicked Wednesday this has been.

His Mom has issued a statement stating that for now she's standing by him. If further details are released then she'll rethink her position.

Armstrong is part owner of Honey Stinger (same for SRAM and many other investments) so I guess they will just take off his face from the product....]

SRAM have bought his shares back.

What. Are you sure

There are too many threads on sponsorships, they should all be combined.

SRAM has announced that Armstrong no longer owns shares in the company. Armstrong first invested in SRAM roughly contemporaneous with that company's circa-$500 million infusion from Lehman Brothers. SRAM spokesmen said that those shares have been repurchased in anticipation of a public offering.

As of Oct. 12, says the index, Armstrong had 98% national name awareness. But among the 3,000 celebrities ranked, his appeal to consumers had fallen to No. 2,064 on that list.

At present, says the survey, Armstrong's ranking as someone consumers aspire to be like is on a level with Ivanka Trump; his trustworthiness is on par with Hugh Grant; his endorsement potential is comparable to Fred Willard; and his influence is at about the same level as Khloe Kardashian.

And this was before Black Wednesday.

Did they vacate results though?

Dave Weins, Mr. 7x Leadville champion. That is as the record should stand.

Lance Armstrong's shadow has issued a statement to say it is no longer standing by him.

Some of the most ardent Armstrongers are upset at Nike's decision yesterday to terminate their contract with Armstrong. Says the president of one of Armstrong's fan clubs, "we are so saddened because Nike dropped the BALL yesterday."
