Heheh, maybe you look into it too much. Americans grand tours.. so they are the grand tours of America. Which doesn't make them the grand tours of the world.
I can understand that for an american rider who only rides in the US that those tours are the Grand Tours for him.

they think they are the centre of the universe...no new news there.

You should be happy about these new grand tours. One of them might be the grand tour that Evans could actually win. Nyuk. Nyuk. Nyuk.

Right now it stands at Rogers: one grand tour. Evans: zero.

I am having an allergic reaction to bull****!:D

Meh. They should have said great, but i see what they mean.

Its not supposed to read like they are bigging up Missouri or Georgia as grand tours. They are talking about the biggest races in America.

Its like when kids say theyve won the world cup when they win their local under 8 league.

Meh indeed, since Georgia and Missouri are now done, defunct, dead in the water............

The locals can breath a sigh of relief, they can get back to stock car racing, shooting small animals and interbreeding and not having pesky cyclists disrupting the place.

There is 0 American grand tours... I assume u mean ToC and that is a sad excuse for a race IMO.

bit harsh maybe. i don't like the hype either and their 'usa > the world' attitude. But their sorry excuse for a race is miles ahead of the mighty TDU in terms of excitement and good racing. This years edition was quite good.

Tour of Utah >>> Tour of California > Tour Down Under

The Tour of Utah had real mountains.

Next year's Tour of Utah and Quizno's Pro Challenge should provide a solid block of racing in August.

I think TDU is the only stage race in the world worse than ToC...

Tour of utah had a quality course this year.
Shame it doesn't get a stronger line-up tho, levi winning is evidence of this.
