Surprisingly, Westra's technique doesn't look smooth at all. Almost looks as if he's on someone else's bike or something...

he might be on Lutsenko's bike LOL
Lol. Or perhaps Lutsenko has sabotaged Westra's bike. Wouldn't surprise me after what he did the other day :D

Dear god indeed. He was going for the worst teammate performance of the year.

Kristoff looks quite far back... WESTRA TAKES IT! 18:07

Really happy for him. The guy has a long list of 2nd and top 10 placings in stage races. Winning won is well deserved! Certainly after stage 1.

Great performance by Mads Pedersen as well, I think he is 17th on the stage in the end. Should keep his top 10 at GC

He's 8th on GC, same time as Politt and Le Bon.

A long time coming for the Frysian Beast. And he really took the race by the balls and won this thing on his own. Happy days.

Oh please. Even I could have won against bauhaus

Just to say I think that this is pretty unfair on Bauhaus. He is only 21 and beating Kristoff to second is impressive for such a young rider. Particularly as he was a lot closer to Kittel than most of the top sprinters get during Kittel wins.
