LBL is some what better, FW is terrible imo, just 1km of racing.
Yep , perhaps he wants to keep some energy for the Mur de Huy. I hope so.woodie said:Did Evans really get dropped?

Bala Verde said:We're only at 2/3s of the race, still 70k to go. I don't know which other races would have exploded at that point in the race.
In retrospect, PR and RVV were decided at 40-50k from the finish?
Agree with FW though.
Tactical riding, important races, just like the TDF. Very strategic, riding not to lose (although in PR Boonen did ride to win)?

Timmy-loves-Rabo said:Dont get me wrong I like the races, just not compared to other classics. AGR generally has little happen before 20-25km. (it isn't too bad, but never has the chaos unpredictable feel of the cobbles) And mainly just near the end, but again it is a lot better then FW (this is a race I hardly like).
Not bad races, but ardennes I always felt were overrated.

When did forums become so anti-opinion![]()
Bala Verde said:Wasn't criticizing your opinion, just an observation from my sideJust pointing out that I think it has become a trend in the 'most important races', where strategic, calculated riding has become the dominant way of racing.
DominicDecoco said:'Critisism and realistic evalutaion'?
It was nothing but mouthing.
