Could argue that considering you also thought Van Wilder was the most likely to beat Ganna and Martinez crushed Van Wilder. Over and underperformances in TT's happen.
As i previously stated, Martinez was my pre-race favorite. The only reason why i did not expect him anymore, was not for discounting his TT abilities, but due to the fact that he had been working for the team on Foia and lost some time, and as such i assumed he was not in top form (because i would have assumed the team be working for him instead of the other way around). But as you say, over and underperformances in TT's happen, so on an other day, Van Wilder could have finished 13s closer to Ganna. In fact, the gains in CdA with a custom cockpit would already gain him more than 15s on 30 minutes.
