Christen is the Gaviria of climbers.
The difference is that Gaviria was dominant at Quick-Step, then he became a rider who did things without thinking.
Christen has been like that from the start. He has the legs and the talent, but he lacks the brain.

Seeing how good he was as a junior in mountain biking or cyclocross, it's incredible how tactically inept he is on the road cycling.

That's never, it cannot possibly be Nicolas Vinokurov outsprinting the UAE guys at the finish there.

Christen would probably do better if he had the part of his brain responsible for making decisions surgically removed, it would save weight and it can't make his tactics any worse.

What a disaster for jayco. No rider in the top 10. At least they have a good sprinter who can save their race ...

At the end of the day, Double was their rider for GC which was lost yesterday. He was far too impatient and needed to wait for the final km, however, pressure does strange things to teams.

Hard crash by 3 riders at almost 100 km/h. Laurenz Rex involved, an important Wolfpack addition for the spring classics. Also Grellier and Stella down. The young UAE-rider was the one who went down first.
Rex was able to finish today's stage. Stella and Grellier abandoned.
