06'06" is the time to beat from Primož Roglic. With all the water on the track, it could end up being the winning time.
Strange sort of reasoning... the weather conditions can only get better if it's raining that much now?
Don't be so sure about that. It just started raining. The track will be very slippery at the end.
Oh okay, my mistake, I thought you meant it was raining very heavily since the beginning. ;)

Nope. ;) I think that's the reason why all the GC favorites except Ion are starting very early.

Anyone can see Froome is not at his lightest...though that should help

he wants bad to win le tour and la vuelta

silly from me to give him 5 stars for this race. probably he will just win one stage and that's all

He said at the PC that he didnt have to win Romandie to prove anything ....seemed to me he was saying he didnt really fancy himself ftw

A lot of GC riders starting in the first wave.
It was a tough call apparently. We'll see in a couple of hours.

Even if it stops raining the raod will be very slippy at the end
Yes.
Those opting for an early start were hoping to finish before the rain.
The others were expecting just a shower, hoping for dried roads.

Bloody hell Porte behind Froome already ....but not a Porte course
And there was a time when Porte used to be a great prologue specialist.. He has lost a lot of power since then in order to become a climber. Always pretty bad in the shorter non-hilly TTs these days.
