The problem is Chipotle DS, who's wife is brazilian, thought he could establish a conversation in portuguese. But then he really couldn't:D

Step aside peloton. it's Cardoso time to shine!

Haha, never make the mistake of underestimating the differences between Portuguese Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese!

should be fun to watch him trying to gain enough time to stay away on the ITT :p

D_T already at the back of the pack ready to get dropped around the same time as guardini

How much do we reckon he needs? I'm thinking somewhere in the region of 7 minutes, since there's an uphill bit on the TT so he'll save time there.

i would say around 4 minutes or so. broco isn't the best ITT'r in the world either . . .

funny enough portugal used to produce mostly guys like cardoso, great climbers and horrible ITT'rs, but the lately seems to have changed a bit. costa, machado, and oliveira are all pretty good itt riders. machado already is well above the average GC rider and oliveira is already getting extremely good results.

They're almost there. Barbot bossing the peloton. Out of the portuguese teams I lke their atitude the most. Not afraid of picking the race if they feel like it.

Let's hope for some action. Cardoso has to take something from here.
