So just back in the hotel... Long transfer.. Was a nice day.. Did an easy last climb so maybe i can do something tomorrow in the final

let's face it,he won't do anything this year but in the spring he will shine again.but there is place for surprises of course,i'd like that.

it seems like it was fun.sergio ribeiro will bounce up in the next mountains i'm sure,he ain't finished.
too bad broco won, can't stand the guy he's like a fuccin cunego for me.

Was that because he was supposedly an outsider at Liberty Seguros and was left off the Volta squad in 2008-9 for that reason?

H. Broco does have enought talent for an International career, at least enough to be a good gregario for any top team, never understood why he didn't took a chance, maybe no one spot the guy, but I doubt that.
Possibly because of his not being invited to the Volta in 2008-9, teams would rather know that his 2010 showing was no fluke; something he has shown in spades this year in Asturias and so far here. Maybe that's a precursor to his moving on, maybe not. But it's always worth making sure a rider's results aren't a big fluke before spending on them!

Yes possibly true, but with the risk of making stupid comparisons that are easy to make, and most of the time inaccurate, I do remember that José Azevedo never had the historial of Brocô, and always struggled at the Volta (yes those days it was harder competition) cracking down and the Torre every time, and he finished 6 at the Tour so.
About the stages in the Volta, with the finish they have prepared, I just wonder what Gilbert could do in the race:D.
Maybe Boonen should had stick at the Volta instead of going to Poland, as a loan of any Portuguese team:D:D the winning chanves would have increased (that or a few days at the beach):p

yeah mainly about that, after nozal assumptions no doubt the guy is a traitor and a troll.i don't hate him though because i've never met him.

and yes too bad volta a portgal hasn't enough money,it could be one of the greatest races,i love it though even it's very poor this year.

 Didn't realise the popularity of this eevnt until I saw some of the crowds in the highlights packages.
Traditionally, August is the holiday month in Portugal. All the emigrants come to spent the holidays with family here. Specially in the north where the race is mostly held. Add that to the fact that cycling is a popular sport (not close to football....) and we usually have a very crowded race!

wait what?

how is that even possible lol who the hell let andre cardoso and sergio sousa into the break? and to a lessar extent ricardo vilela

well andre cardoso will lose minutes and minutes on the ITT so they gave him some time. but still its very risky.

they are also prolly downplaying sergio sousa. the guy can climb very well like he did in asturias where he actually dropped broco!!!!
