Pidcock seems to be back to his normal self today, however I still have my doubts about him in Flandres as he was only 41st last year
I think he still lacks a bit in the endurance part when it comes to such a long race at this stage, but he's still young and can improve.

Is there a way MvdP can loose this?
He's on his own for starters, could easily be caught out by a late attack as everyone will look at him to close any gaps. He's also been grimacing a bit and he doesn't usually pretend to be struggling.

Plus if Politt manages to hang on he's pretty good in a reduced sprint after a hard race, I remember him outsprinting guys like Trentin at the end of one day races.

He looked pretty good at the end of last year's Worlds, riding away from WVA and MVDP. I think his lack of racing will be a bigger factor this year.

Pogacar doing his best Milano-Torino ‘21 impression. Meaning he will smoke everyone on Sunday.
It's not even bad legs today, just bad positioning on the wrong climb. Oude Kwaremont will be a problem for him come Sunday though.

To be fair it doesn't take much to outsprint Trentin after a hard race.
Yeah, Trentin can either do well in a bunch sprint after an easy race or go on the attack in a hard race, but sprinting after a hard race isn't his biggest strength.
that said, Politt was 5th in the 2019 RVV sprint, only beaten by MVDP and Kristoff, ahead of guys like Matthews and Naesen, the guy has a decent sprint after a hard race.
