Across Flanders looks like a good chance for Küng to finally win. Hopefully he tries, because at the Tour of Flanders he probably can't keep up with the big 3.

Weather conditions work in his favor too. But yeah, Jumbo still comes with Laporte & Kooij.

Only two stars for De Lie. Four weeks ago, after Omloop, the experts predicted he was going to podium each & every classics race he entered.

He seemed to be a bit tuckered out after the opening weekend.

But I get your point. If he's back in shape, he's definitely a candidate for victory. Especially since he picks his race schedule pretty cautious. So he must be ambitious for Across Flanders!

Certainly among the favorites.

For me that list is a bit too sprintish.
maybe, yeah, but de Lie just said that he expects a small group of maybe 6-7 riders to fight for the win in the end, and he wants to be one of them. Laporte can have the same expectations, I guess, Pedersen as well maybe (if he goes for it). So those type of sprinters don't really need, or even want a sprint.

Kristoff is in the breakaway, with Gidich, Vanhoof, Heinschke, Zukowsky and Lazkano. So he won't be quite as invisible as in the past couple of races, at least.

(Although, to be fair, he had a mechanical on the gravel roads in Gent Wevelgem as well.)

I don’t know what to think of this race really. If it’s interesting because the best riders are not participating, or if it’s uninteresting for the same reason.
