I think is going to be a fight among spanish riders. My country is not at his top, but It has good riders who can shine at this race. I ser strong at Carapaz with the help of Uran, (they were 1st and 2nd some yaears ago) but he already lost time.

UCI needs to do something about soigneurs standing in the middle of the road. I've seen this so many times this year. In Catalunya there was a crash because of it for example.

It's a bit confusing also. The snow doesn't look very fresh so it must have been there for a bit, but there's also green grass underneath it, so there must have been a good period of no snow and decent temperatures already this spring. Anyway, beautiful views.
Here in Germany we had a record warm February and March, but for a good week now we‘ve had this cold weather. You can also see from the tree tops that at least some of the snow is very fresh.

Yeah, I noticed. But there's also some snow on the ground which has been there for a few days or a week or so. Makes for stunning views though, the lush green grass and the snow-sprinkled trees.

You would think Yates/Ayuso would be big favourites, perhaps the issue with having 5 guys going for their own thing.

Tomorrow is the decisive day. No point wasting energy today. There will be no big gaps

There's plenty of reason for the guys who don't have the best TT to do something here. What's the point of doing this race if you don't use the only climb with some steep parts?

Yes, the gaps won't be big cause the climb isn't long enough, but just waiting for tomorrow is just not a good idea for most riders.

I mean for the stage.
They are players of a higher calibre than to desperately go for such a stage.

Ayuso the biggest favourite tomorrow
