I am confused why "sprinter" teams let such a strong break go.

Also confused what EF is doing. DS not happy they are not in the break or what is this?

Looking at the circuit and the difficulty of the final climb I can see someone from GC trying something if they bring this back

It's a good move I think, there is a lot of uncertainty around working duties and who has the onus to control so they could get ahead before the peloton sort it out.

Bit downhill towards the bottom of last climb now, break won't loose a lot of time from now on, but gap is maybe already to small to make it.

They needed to have had a rider from Visma in the break. They are the most committed in the chase.
