Only 1min for the Alarcon/Antunes group. Still 75km to the finish. I think Sporting has this under control, the run in suits riders like De Mateos and Nocentini if they don't run out of power to chase.
Ive seen a 3 man break from the same squad pull this off before. They'll be fine.

1.15 at the top. This can get complicated for W52 if Sporting is able to catch back on in the descent, they're spending lot of energy there.

I'm hopping on the Neilands bandwagon. Future Tour winner for sure.
He has a cool style, I'll follow him now.

Kind of reminds me when Daniel Martin was battling it out with Tiago Machado for the youth jersey like 30 years ago.

So, does this mean that Antunes will be trapped in the Portuguese scene, or does any WT team dare touch him? One could have hoped that he'd get a chance to have a real pro career, but maybe this will mark him...

I think touching him right now would give you radiation poisoning.

Tabriz Petrochemical used to do stuff like this in the Asian races. Pretty amazing scenes.

Well, now I understand why the team was called "Petrochemical"... :D
