7900 chain quick link replacement

Quick link on the Dura-Ace 7900 chain is defect.

Can I use a 7800 connecting pin? what about a KMC Missing Link?

I have them both but no 7900 pin, I have a race coming up so no chance of getting one now.

Use the KMC link or a Wipperman link. Don't use the 7800 pin.
