He had one out with AG Insurance group ride on the MondayI don’t think I missed his stories, all were sponsor related & not him on the bike
yes, I checked, last year in the week before flanders he did a PR recon on wednesday and a flanders recon on thursday. After sanremo this year his mechanic gave an interview saying they would do a PR recon before flanders also this time but so far he hasn't done itLast year he did roubaix recon before Rvv if I remember correctly
just reporting facts, his mechanic said they were going to do a PR recon before flanders and so far he hasn't done it, maybe he goes tomorrow or maybe there was a change in plans...Two weeks ago people were panicking that his team is trash for San Remo and that the conditions were not good for him...
Now they are worried that he hasn't posted anything on social media.
Relax and let him cook, guys.
When UAE announce their squad for RVV we will know if Pog is 100 % or not.just reporting facts, his mechanic said they were going to do a PR recon before flanders and so far he hasn't done it, maybe he goes tomorrow or maybe there was a change in plans...
who said anything about his form/health? I just reported an interview about a potential PR reconWhen UAE announce their squad for RVV we will know if Pog is 100 % or not.
His big goal now is Paris-Roubaix. If he is not fully healthy he won't be on the startlist for Flanders to compromise his condition.
Skipping Flandres when he has a 70% chance to win (give or take) would be insaneWhen UAE announce their squad for RVV we will know if Pog is 100 % or not.

So much panic and he will cook them all in 4 daysSkipping Flandres when he has a 70% chance to win (give or take) would be insane
Where did you get that from? Pretty sure that Pog needs to be totally incapacitated before saying no to another shot at RVV. Don’t believe for a second that he even considers choosing. He can race every Monument and with a very high probability win each. When UAE announce their squad for RVV we will know if Pog is 100 % or not.

Last year, he wasn't active in social media too... he will be fine.Where did you get that from? Pretty sure that Pog needs to be totally incapacitated before saying no to another shot at RVV. I mean Flanders is in 2 days, I hope he is not focusing on Roubaix right nowPogacar hasn’t posted a story related to him riding a bike since Monday 9 days ago. He is normally active in socials & normally does roubaix recon before flanders but it’s quiet atm. Is there something else or perhaps the knee issue after msr that some in this thread were stressing about?
Can you give us some information? Duration, lenght, etc?Pogačar posted his training ride on Strava yesterday by the way, so he‘s definitely not sick or injured
I think Remco is very good in chaotic races. We all know he can't win this race based on w/kg, but he can really take advantage of the battle between MVP and Pogacar to sneak away between those cobbled hills. However I also think Remco's presence helps Pogacar because he has an ally to make the race harder and someone to ride with him between hills. The main problem for MVP against Pogacar is how closer he gets to his FTP compared to Pogacar in those hills. MVP needs time to recover from those hills in the flat sections, however with Remco there, this just means they will go faster and MVP will "eat more wind" compared to Pogacar because he is 15 cm higher than an aero Remco.Honestly, Pogacar must be pretty frightened after the news about Remco joining the fray.
I'm exaggerating but Remco is still really, really good and has some abilities for which he's currently the greatest outlier among the entire pack. His coming doesn't increase the chances of Tadej, Mathieu or Wout. It diminishes them.
The figurative rabid dog has been thrown into the mix and anything might happen.
Just some minor hesitation frome those three and Wout and Mads will join the mix.I think Remco is very good in chaotic races. I don't believe in Mads at all nevertheless Wout seems better compared to last year.Just some minor hesitation frome those three and Wout and Mads will join the mix.

I wasn't worried. If he was seriously injured, he would not win MSR.![]()
Don't worry, Pog is ready to give a reality check on Sunday.
I'm not sure I agree with this take. There are a couple of scenarios I can see potentially happening:I think Remco is very good in chaotic races. I can be so wrong but I can definitely see Remco working with Pogacar and be dropped in the last Kwaremont.I'm not sure I agree with this take. There are a couple of scenarios I can see potentially happening:
1. Remco is the only rider who can follow Pogacar on the final climb. Remco being there makes it even less likely that the chasing group catch them, as Remco will definitely work. However, Remco has a chance to beat Pogacar in the sprint, so this is a worse scenario for Pog compared to 2023 and 2025.
2. Remco is dropped on the final climb. However, Remco's presence in a chasing group makes it more likely that Pogacar is caught, as he is probably the best rider out there for a 15km chase on flat roads.
3. Remco is dropped earlier or doesn't feature in the finale. This neither helps nor hinders Pogacar.
I still think Pogacar is the favourite, I just disagree that Remco's presence helps him. I think it makes things slightly harder.
