Possible, but if Sénéchal is still there Pedersen will probably still be there as well, and Van Aert will still have people to launch his sprint. Another scenario is that Benoot or Laporte attacks on the final flat part and no one reacts.

In a group sprint Merlier, Jakobsen, Groenewegen and Ballerini would have a chance, but they will probably be dropped by Jumbo on the Kemmel.
Ballerini would need his 2021 Omloop shape to be there in the final...

Even less wind today than expected yesterday (but same direction), ironically enough the wind will be strongest and in the worst direction just after Veurne and before they enter De Moeren (after 90 km).

They have ridden ~60 km, the peloton is led by Jumbo-Visma with Total Direct Energies behind the pulling rider.

Sadly, Cofidis‘ Walscheid cannot ride today‘s Gent-Wevelgem, and probably will be out for the remaining Classics. He had super shape in the last weeks, with top results - and even won Denain.

Last Thursday, however, one day after Brugge-De Panne, he had a serious training accident in Germany. He was happy to be alive, afterwards. At the moment, he‘s still in hospital.

Get well soon! :)
