Folks, between keeping up with who everyone is, what their nickanmes are, yadda yada yadda, when you start referencing them by their middle names, unless a guy is very VERY well know, like John Wilkes Booth, William Jefferson Clinton, ....

come ONNNNN..... I get the impression that cycling fans want it to become an ever more exclusive club and if you can't recite mythology/scripture backwards you're unwelcome in these parts. 'Quick! What was the gear that Andy was shifting into when he dropped his chain!?! GOTCHA!!'

Enough. Or you can ignore me, whatever, that's all I got.

Middle names??? wtf?

I think the comment is directed at my usage of René and Raymond to refer to Fränk and Andy Schleck. Apparently it was a bridge too far for some folks. Unfortunately I'm going to have to decline your request. Frankly I like it and is certainly much less derogatory than Frandy or any of the other names bandied about in this forum.

Any Chance you could like put (f) and(a) somewhere in the neighborhood of their middle names? Rene Raymond. other obscure references are just odd struggles to neophytes. Subtle little ways of saying those who are in the secret society are still free to talk amongst themselves.

Was Andy in the small ring or big ring when his chain dropped or was that what he was shifting? 39-17. I don't think so. he'd have been dropped.

You big trouble maker!

:D if they didn't want the middle name used they'd of never brought it up. No issue really, I like the fine line of reading posts here, it shows who reads and who doesn't.

It's usually clear from the context of the comment and thread. It's not about a secret society or whatever you guys seem to be suggesting. But I'll take your suggestion under advisement.
