what a stupid comment. really, when do you think hotels etc have all been booked for the upcoming giro? it's all been done, so no, they can't change all of this now. uci made a f'n mess, while 2 years ago rcs ASKED uci to allow 23 teams. completely different

Yeah, I find all the sympathy he gets on Twitter by people who most likely have little idea of what's going on one way or the other rather puzzling. Just because they liked his routes or because the guy's nice on Twitter? Huh.

I would be interested about Uli Fluhme opinion about the matter, and opinion about Acquarore. I also asked Uli on twitter if he minds writing about that. but he did not answer
