who do you think is the most aggressive rider in the peloton??? aggressive doesn't necessary mean a rider who is winning, i mean a rider who isn't afraid of attacking during a race!( i am gonna put some names here who i think are the best aggressive riders in my opinion, if you have other riders not included in my list just say it!)

Gerdemann attacks like clockwork, usually on a descent, in just about every race. Rarely sticks at all though.

Taaramae is quite aggressive when he's feeling good.

Probably Voeckler is the winner though, and he makes 'em count as well. Tremendous ability.

Voeckler is the right answer on this one IMO.;) Looks like he gained more resistance this year and does'nt fade as quickly as he used to, which is reflected in the number of wins he's accumualted so far compared to previous years.

Voeckler combines aggression with the intelligence to use that aggression at appropriate times. Hoogerland is more aggressive overall though: No matter what the situation, no matter what the race, no matter how stupid it may seem, that dude is going to attack.

Well, perhaps not the most aggresive, but some people just go in the attack without thinking of winning it and for me that doesn't really count.

So I voted Phil. He attacked in (almost) every stage at the Tour of Belgium and Ster ZLM Toer for example. Cancellara almost never attacks outside the spring classics, so don't know why he's in the list. He usually just focuses on time trials in his second part of the season.

i voted Cancellara, because he is the strongest in cobblestones and could attack from 10-20km to go, but he attacks with 40-50km to the finish line. Voeckler etc attacks a lot but is his way for win because there are stronger riders

Tommy V is the most swashbuckling but Gilbert seems to time it so right this year he is totally devastating when he goes so I voted for him

How about all time?

Should go without a doubt to the magnificient Uniballer - fearlessly chased meaningless attack during meaningless stage, alone and wearing yellow, all that just before the final TT. Not even the Cannibal managed that! And in the end he even gifted them a victory, what a class.

DUARTE.

Vino Hoogerland Rujano.

Also Cancellara. i know this forum hates Canc but it should still be aknowledged that going 50k out in RVV is something. Its one thing to do it time and time again in lesser races, when if you fail you can just try again. Rvv comes once a year and Canc takes that risk. Thats aggression, and its very impressive.
