Not sure if the USADA can be trusted.
It's like the Fox testing the Chickens.

It also extends to the Tour of Utah and to Colorado. Now we know why Leecheimer likes to race so much in the U.S. Makes you wonder whether any testing is being done in Beijing. How many other races have no blood testing?

ToC mt Baldy stage...no data.
...lots of excellent climbs superb performances ToC and Utah and USAPCC

hope all were won by super-fit top-of-their-form riders.
we'll never know.

Both sides, UCI and USADA are pointing their fingers at each other. This is another black eye for the UCI, but I would like to read more than one report before I decide where to point.

At least we have the fourth branch (referring to media snooping) keeping an eye on things for us. I hope that doesn't sound sarcastic, its really all we can hold on to sometimes

Armstrong should of ridden ATOC, he could of super charged himself before the race and have a go at the victory at home and then retire.

"Then there was a press conference and there was the comment about the fox guarding the henhouse. McQuaid went crazy and demanded an apology. One wasn't forthcoming and there was a huge thing. It was seen as an affront to Pat McQuaid's honour and fück the sport if Pat McQuaid's honour is impeached."

That fat piece of *** has to go. He is an embarrassment to humanity, not to mention cycling.

The state of competitive cycling is even worse than I had thought. That's really saying something.

I'm glad the end of the season is near. I'll have a few months to try to forget this story.

"There was a deal to do pre-competition and in-competition testing," the source told Cyclingnews. "That deal was struck with the deputy director of USADA and the UCI and that was in writing.'...'Then there was a press conference and there was the comment about the fox guarding the henhouse. McQuaid went crazy and demanded an apology. One wasn't forthcoming and there was a huge thing. It was seen as an affront to Pat McQuaid's honour and **** the sport if Pat McQuaid's honour is impeached. "The deal that had been agreed in writing was pulled off the table.'...'"

So the key points are:

1)Pat puts himself and his ego ahead of the interests of cycling.

2)The UCI president appears able to cause the operational anti-doping plans of the UCI to be overridden at whim.

3)The UCI don't honor written agreements, and this is encouraged by it's president.

IMO, Pat McQuaid is not an appropriate person to head a not-for-profit organisation. He appears to lack personal integrity or a basic understanding of best practice in the not-for-profit sector. Pat McQuaid, NO CONFIDENCE or RESPECT. Resign you ******* ****-***** ******.

allow me to get pedantic to put the uci misdeed into a perspective.

no blood collection=no testing/neglecting for at least 5 key doping practices:

1. bio passport
2. growth hormone
3. cera
4. hemoglobin-based oxygen carrier
5. homologous blood transfusion

piss tests either don’t exists or are not used to detect those.

I agree with you on this, but when I read the news this morning it totally ****ed me off. The UCI is corrupt or atleast their leader is. If they are corrupt there is no way to fight doping for real.

Actually this fits pretty well with the theory that the Tour is getting cleaner while cycling in general is getting dirtier.

You'd think those "clean teams" would make a big fuss about this.
