Scott SoCal, MacRoadie and Mooseknuckles are like the same person to me. There sort of the lower end of the trolls who don't say anything substantive enough to ever focus on for long. In fact I don't recall ever being in a debate with them.

No. Were you as lame a tool there as you are here?

No I posted a few messages there around the time I came to this forum last August. I could see many of the same trolls were there as here, yet they would talk about using cycling news forums to exploit the ordinary fans that get there news from here and to base their attacks on other forums they were banned from. Frizzlefrys info confirms what I had already uncovered.

It would be interesting to know how far up the chain it goes.

So what do you talk about in the BPC fan club? Must be quite exciting to belong to a club like that.

But do I have a mole on the inside? ;)

All makes me feel very important to have my own club.

Is this the un-named ex-USPS rider, David Clinger? Yikes.

Nice obfuscation, but no. Read the article again:

"The rider, who has never tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs or methods, asked that his name not be used because investigators advised him not to speak publicly about the information he provided."

That would obviously exclude Mr. Facial Tattoo. It's actually someone much more clean-cut looking, squeaky-clean in fact.

...because only some loser with a face tattoo would come forward and finger your hero? No, I think the truth has gone mainstream, and all of your wishing and hoping that the legal proceedings are going nowhere is fanciful thinking driven by being a fan and not assessing what is actually happening.

No, no, no. Squeaky clean implies argyle. My guess it is either CVV or JV himself.

JV is a little too nerdish to be "squeaky clean." If squeaky clean is the criterion my vote goes to CVV. And CVV would make an impressive witness (on account of the all-american looks and demeanor). Given the way he was treated at Postal, I hope it is him.

Do you know something that's not in the article?

Geez. Mellow out guys. I just went down the list that someone else posted here of names of possible riders who might be the unnamed source in the NYT article and came across a picture of Maori-man. Go take a pill. Or go for a ride. You'll feel better. Or not. Whatever....

I am trying to catch up here, just some observations:

To anyone who thinks the American public won't care, or this will blow over.

No, up until this Lance (& his entourage) have always had control over their destiny. They manipulated the media and had control of the narrative and they also had the UCI & USAC complicit to avoid a scandal that would rock the sport.

This is gone.
The Fed's do not care and cannot be bought off by him- and this story is now carried on all the major papers, NYT,WSJ,ESPN,ABC,NYDN.... Worse still is the news outlets are fighting over it to be the ones to 'break' new stories.

It is almost 3 months since the Landis emails and the story is continuing to surface, the drip drip reporting is producing a constant wave of doubt and suspicion.

Lance's achievements were done with PED's - but his legacy and image were built by the media and they have started to turn.
It will be a simple case of - the bigger they come, the bigger they fall.

Unless your name is Bush, Cheney, Weinburg. Karl Rove, Condeleeza Rice, Haliburton, etc, etc.

Please pass me your rose colored glasses and that funny looking cigarette fellow citizen Dr. Mazarroti. Yeah our govenment is on the up and up. We are world leaders nocoruption in congress. Like I said you must live right around the corner from the dispensary. Saves a bike ride eh?

"Fellow citizen"?
I am European and living in Europe - but don't worry, its not the only thing that flew past you.

I checked the names you gave, must admit, I did not see any of those names on the front of the NYT, unlike Mr. Armstrongs- is one of them the unnamed rider who backs up Landis statements??

And no - they are not "rose colored" glasses - they prefer to be known as 'red Iridium'......;)

LOL, Lance's lawyer is now claiming the investigation is "un-American".

Well, Lance should "un-American" himself and move offshore....or run for governor....

That won't play well.

Smacks of running scared. Don't address the issues, just rant at the law enforcers and hope they go away?

That's some crap lawyering!
