Ardèche Classic (February 26) and Drôme Classic (February 27) 2022

Guillaume Martin is a strong rider and he is finding his good form. However he needs to work on his descending skills. He also was very bad positioned yesterday. He is always trying to make up time on the ascents and he pays the toll of doing so.

This was such great racing and perfect roads/backdrop! I loved these races!! What fantastic roads and bike race setting

Indeed, never watched them before (have ES/GCN carried them before?), but opening weekend might look different in viewing priorities in future.

In the past I never knew these races existed. Cycling has changed so much. Look at the small races in Spain and France that we are now watching. Almost full coverage. Incredible. I assume that this is going to be very good for the marketing in the future. It will motivate more sponsorship.

Personally, I am waiting for Itzulia for the real fireworks, Pogačar not yet confirmed though.

I don't think they will meet in a stage race before the Tour. Pog will focus on Flandres and Ardenne classics and probably Tour of Slovenia in June.
