Don't burn them, keep them and think of it as carbon storage, your small but humble step towards a cleaner planet. Alternatively, you could compost them and use it to grow your vegetables and "eat Armstrong's words".

I am ashamed to admit it , but I own several Lance Armstrong book's. Shall we all put them in the recycling bin or just burn them.

Did you also purchase Positively False?

Definitely Not. I would not PURCHASE a book that was written by a Known Doper such as Flandis. I have a few armstrong book's. But those were purchased before, the Floyd Landis allegation's. Even when I did purchase them I was always suspicious of Lance Armstrong's Results. But I will say one thing. I will never buy a book of his again. Now I have Paul Kimmages Book Rough Ride. That is a good read.

So you won't read any books about today's top riders, but you'd buy a book by a journalists who specializes in shooting fish in a barrel? Welcome to the clinic!

How did you know Landis was a doper immediately and it wasn't the whiskey and a beer? The fact that LA won seven tours in a row only sparked a little suspicion? Did you enjoy reading LA's books?

It's Not About the Bike was so revealing - it showed, to me, anyway, what an egotistical maniac he was. He came off as so self-centered in that book. It made me sick to read it. And I *wanted* to like him. I don't understand the success of that book. ???

It can also be recycled for his next book.

One could say that Positively False is the Satanic Versus of the Cycling World. LOL! Like pile Floyds book in a pile and burn it in a demonstration.

Like him or not , You have to give him some credit for his honesty though. He even admitted to his own use of drugs namely Amphetamines. The guy hung up his bike and pursued a career in the world of Journalism. He was one of the first Guy's to lift the lid on the doping culture in Cycling. It is not surprising that His book was a success.

Highly unlikely. When Lance is buried. They will erect a memorial statue in his honour that will stink of the Pathological Liar THAT HE IS . His death bed confession " I never tested positive "

Armstrongs books

Bald Eagle, You really should not set too much store by anything Kimmage says. His problem is that he was rising through the ranks on the back of the success achieved by Sean Kelly and Stephen Roche, only Kimmage never had an ounce of their talent. He was never able to acknowledge this and so see's anyone better than him must be cheating by some means or another. I reckon Walsh is in the same position. Both bitter men who were not as good as they thought they were.

Until Armstrong is actually proven guilty he is, in the eyes of the law innocent, and no I'm not a fan boy. I just think there is a right way and a wrong way to go about the whole affair.

Landis on the other hand is guilty of lying to a court under oath and lying to all the people he accepted money from. Based soley on those two facts, I would expect Armstrongs legal team to destroy him in a court room situation. So if Lance did cheat at any time during his career ( and I really would prefer for the sake of the sport to think he hadn't) he is likely to walk because of the way Landis has gone about his accusations. Just a theory.

I am a Jens Voigt fan.

I've been trying to give my brother's copy of the second book back for years now. He won't take it.

About the only useful thing from that book is the subtext between Lance and Landis.

Armstrong isn't and never was your best friend, he didn't sleep with you and then never call you, he isn't, and never was, the messiah.

The level of dissapointment and anger in some of the posts around here is frankly ridiculous....
